Making ReservationsReservations can be made Worldwide at any Travel Agency, On our web site or at your nearest Wimbi Dira Airways office. To make reservations use our website, call our reservation center at the number nearest to you on our contact list: Wimbi Dira Airways Contacts. or just tell your travel agent that you want to book a flight on Wimbi Dira Airways. When you make a reservation with us remember to make sure we have your telephone number and address in case we need to advise you of any changes to your flight schedule. If you do not provide accurate contact information Wimbi Dira Airways is not responsible for advising you of any changes to your flight information. We use Electronic Ticketing for the convenience of our customers. An Electronic Ticket is really no different from the normal paper ticket, with one exception: all information found in a paper ticket is stored within our reservation system. You no longer have to worry about losing your tickets and changing your travel plans is accomplished with either the Internet or telephone because there are no tickets to change. During the reservation process, Internet or telephone, we will obtain all the required information. For reservations made on the internet you can print your itinerary and tickets or just record the itinerary number. For reservations made with our reservation center, upon request, your itinerary information can be emailed, faxed or mailed to you. The Itinerary is your receipt and should be printed if you need a receipt. It is very important that you remember two things about your reservation. The first time you make a reservation with Wimbi Dira Airways you will automatically be assigned a Passenger Identification number. Your Passenger Identification number will never change and is to be used to access your current reservations and to also make future reservations. Please record the Passenger Identification number in a safe place where you can reference it when you need it. The second thing to remember is the Itinerary Number of your reservation. An Itinerary number is assigned to each reservation that you make with Wimbi Dira Airways. This number will be needed when you reference your reservations in the reservation system and when you check-in. Please record the Itinerary Number in a safe place where you can reference it when it is needed. FaresFares are subject to taxes and surcharges. When you make your reservation on-line after your select your flight(s) you are presented with a confirmation panel that shows the reservations to be made, the fares, taxes and charges as well as the rules, restrictions and/or penalties that may apply. Since fares, charges, taxes and rules are subject to change without notice to you please verify and understand all the information about your reservation before your proceed to make the reservation. Flight StatusAs an added convenience we provide Flight Information that will let you view the exact status of your flight(s). You can verify that the flight is on time before proceeding to the airport. To check your flight status, on the reservation main page in the area labeled "Flight Status" input/select (using the calendar) the desired flight date, then from the pull down select the flight. When you select "Submit" the status of the flight selected will be displayed. Of course, you can contact our reservation center at the location nearest to you: Wimbi Dira Airways Contacts and receive the flight status information. The flight status information is updated as your flight progresses to its destination and can be viewed via the Internet by anyone wanting to know the status of your flight. Internet Check-InYou can check-in for your flight anytime and anywhere. Use the Internet Check-In application located on the main reservation page. You can check-in on-line anytime between 2 and 48 hours prior to scheduled departure. What's more, you can check-in on your return flight (if your return flight is less than 48 hours from the arrival of your outbound flight). Once you check-in on-line, all you need to do is arrive at the airport no later than 60 minutes before departure to present your eTicket and check-in your luggage. To take advantage of Internet check-in, you need to have a confirmed (paid for) booking made on our on-line system, by you, a travel agent or by one of our reservation centers. Checking In At The AirportAt the airport simply present your eTicket at our check-in counter. If you do not have an eTicket you can check-in using your name or Itinerary number. You will need a passport or government issued photo identification, there is no exception to this. Failure to present the proper ID will result in your check-in being denied. Our check-in agent will verify your reservation, print your eTicket if you do not have one and accept your baggage. At airport security (customs) you will have to present your passport and your eTicket for the flight on Wimbi Dira Airways. You can then proceed to the departure gate. You must check-in one hour prior to scheduled departure. Failure to do so will result in your reservation being cancelled and a US$20.00 fee being charged. If you have previously checked-in using Internet check-in and you have no baggage you only need to go through the airport customs and then proceed directly to the Wimbi Dira Airways check-in gate. Departure GateAt the departure gate you will be required to present your validated eTicket and passport or government issued photo identification, there is no exception to this. Failure to present the proper ID will result in your boarding being denied. Pre-Assigned SeatsWimbi Dira Airways does not assign seats. This allows you to select any vacant seat on the aircraft. Checked Luggage/BaggageBaggage and carry-on articles will be carried within space and weight limitations of the aircraft. Passengers are permitted, free of charge, 30 kilograms (66 pounds) of total checked baggage. Excess baggage will be accepted if space permits at an additional weight charge for the excess baggage. Excess baggage charges are according to the destination and are as follows
Wimbi Dira Airways does not guarantee excess baggage will be transported on the same flight as the passenger but will be forwarded on the first available flight. Identification tags must be attached to the outside of the baggage. There are identification tags available for you at the check-in counter. It is highly recommended that identification also be placed inside of the baggage in case the identification placed outside is lost in transit. All baggage or goods presented for transportation are subject to inspection by our personnel. Any articles of baggage or goods will not be carried when the articles are likely to endanger the aircraft, persons or property, are likely to be damaged by air carriage, or the carriage of which would violate any applicable laws, regulations, or orders. The following list is not all-exclusive but includes all items classified by governments as hazardous material. Do not pack these intems in your luggage or carry them on-board the aircraft. Explosives: Signal flares, fireworks, sparklers, certain chemicals, power rivets or other explosives. Flammable Liquids And Materials: fuel, paint, lacquers, polish, filters, adhesives, lighter fluids, lighters with a flammable liquid reservoir, matches. Gases: aerosols containing toxic; flammable and/or explosive substances, butane cylinders, breathing apparatus, spray cans, self-inflating rafts. House Items: drain cleansers, bleach, solvent, ammonia, and corrosive substances. Weapons: firearms, ammunition, gunpowder, mace, tear gas or pepper spray. Regulations require that all firearms must be unloaded from checked baggage and declared before check-in. Other Hazardous Materials: dry-ice, car and wheelchair batteries, pesticides and other toxic substances, swimming pool chemicals and other oxidizing substances, magnetized and radioactive materials. The following items will be carried only with prior consent of the airline: Firearms of any description.
Carry-On Baggage/ArticlesEach passenger is allowed one (1) piece of carry-on baggage, total weight 3 kilograms (6.5 pounds). Standard size applies to carry-on baggage - 10 x 10 x 14 inches or 25 x 25 x 35 cm; carry-on baggage must fit under the seat in front of you. These limitations are intended for your comfort and safety. All baggage must be completely stowed before the aircraft can depart from the gate. Lost/Damaged BaggageIn accordance with the Warsaw Convention the airline's liability in case of missing registered (check-in) baggage is limited to an amount of US$20.00 (or equivalent) per kilogram. Under these rules the weight of the articles lost is the basis of claims and the value of the lost items is not material in this case. Therefore in order to receive full value for your baggage in case of damage or loss, it is highly recommended that you insure your baggage before travel. Electronic Equipment Not Permitted During FlightUse of equipment such as portable radios, TVs, cellular telephones, video cameras and some electronic toys will not be permitted during flight. Electronic Equipment Permitted During FlightPersonal Digital Assistants, Electronic Books and Laptop computers may be used during flight. These items must not be used during take-offs and landings. No Smoking On FlightsAll flights are non-smoking. Re-confirmation Of FlightsPassengers do not need to re-confirm onward or return flights on Wimbi Dira Airways if the reservation was made on the Internet and an eTicket was issued. However, if your itinerary includes flights on other airlines, or Wimbi Dira Airways reservations not made on the Internet ask your travel agent or a Wimbi Dira Airways ticket office closest to your location: Wimbi Dira Airways Contacts if you need to re-confirm your reservation. Forgotten Confirmation NumberIf you have forgotten or misplaced your confirmation number and or itinerary listing you can still proceed to the airport. As long as you have your passport or government issued photo identification with you, we will be able to locate your reservation. If you desire you may contact our reservation center at the number closest to your location: Wimbi Dira Airways Contacts and they will provide you with your confirmation number upon request. Minor Children/InfantsChildren under 12 years of age are accepted for transportation without restriction when accompanied by a passenger at least 12 years of age. Children under 12 years of age not accompanied by a passenger 12 years of age or over are accepted for transportation only under the following conditions: Under 5 years of age, not accepted under any
conditions. The child must be brought to the airport of departure by a parent or responsible adult who remains with the child until enplaned and who must furnish the airline with satisfactory evidence that the child will be met by another parent or responsible adult upon deplaning at his destination. The child will not be accepted if the flight on which the child holds a reservation is expected to terminate short of or bypass the child's destination. Infants under 2 years old are allowed with an accompanying adult for a small fee. One infant is allowed per accompanying adult. An infant under two years of age is not assigned a seat but is held in the accompanying adult's lap. Infant Allowable Checked/Carry-On Baggage/ArticleInfants traveling as lap children (no assigned seat) are not entitled to the normal free baggage allowance. However, they are allowed free of charge:
PetsLive animals are accepted, but need prior approval from our reservation department. Please contact our reservation center closes to you: Wimbi Dira Airways Contacts to obtain the required approval. Passengers With DisabilitiesWe will try to accommodate passengers with disabilities including their service animals or mobility aids. However, we may not be able to accommodate these needs due to space limitations. Please check with our reservation center at the number closest to you: Wimbi Dira Airways Contacts to determine if we can accommodate you. Change Of Travel PlansIf you want to change your travel plans or are unable to travel as booked, please contact either our reservation center at the number closest to your location: or the travel agent who made your reservations as soon as possible. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of other bookings on your itinerary. Changes And RefundsAll purchases or reservations are non-refundable and if changed or cancelled are placed in a customer credit file for reuse within 1 year of the date the original ticket was purchased. Once confirmed, all changes carry a processing fee of US$20.00 per segment/leg regardless of notice. Cancellations and Passenger No-ShowsCancellations and passenger no-shows at the airport carry a penalty of US$20.00 per segment/leg regardless of notice. Punctuality By Wimbi Dira AirwaysWhile every effort is made to ensure the functionality of our services, Wimbi Dira Airways cannot accept responsibility for the delay or suspensions of a service, which are outside our control, nor can Wimbi Dira Airways guarantee that connection will be made with other services or surface carriers. Overbooking Of FlightsAirline flights may be overbooked, and there is a slight chance that a seat will not be available on a flight for which a person has a confirmed reservation. If the flight is overbooked, no one will be denied a seat until airline personnel first ask for volunteers willing to give up their reservation in exchange for a payment of the airlines choosing (Denied Boarding Compensation). If there are not enough volunteers, the airline will deny boarding to other persons in accordance with its particular boarding priority. With few exceptions, persons denied boarding involuntarily are entitled to compensation. In order to be eligible customers must have complied fully with the requirements as to ticketing and must have presented themselves at the airport for check-in at or before the latest check-in time or for connecting passengers the minimum connecting time specified for that station. Some airlines do not apply these consumer protections to travel from some foreign countries, although other consumer protections may be available.
